Copthall School remains an award winning school from outstanding Governance to students winning national competitions including the Tycoons in Schools Award, for the second time! Our school is led by a decisive leader who was awarded ‘TES Headteacher of the Year Award 2020’ and an MBE in the New Year’s Honours list for Services to Education. This year, 2022/23 our Headteacher is the President of ASCL which means she will be able to represent and influence on a national level. 

Our outcomes for GCSEs and A-Levels/Vocational remain strong and we have a thriving Sixth Form. We boast an excellent success rate in University applications and we are proud that not only do our students gain places in a range of universities including Oxford and LSE, they also secure degree apprenticeships with organisations such as TFL and the Bank of England.

Business Studies is a popular subject and the department has achieved some excellent GCSE results over time, with a significate number of students opting to study it at KS4 and increasing popularity at KS5.
