This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic RE, Philosophy and Ethics teacher to lead the department at Sir Harry Smith Community College. The school has a strong ethos in well-being and creating a sense of belonging for all our students. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic qualified teacher (holding QTS or equivalent and relevant degree) to lead our RE, Philosophy and Ethics department.

The successful candidate will lead and teach RE, Philosophy and Ethics across key stage 3, 4 and 5. They will be creative, innovative, efficient, and committed to improving outcomes for all students. The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and be able to work closely with all our middle leaders to improve outcomes and drive improvements across the school. We are committed to a progressive and stimulating approach to teaching and learning and instilling a passion for RE, Philosophy and Ethics in all our students.
