The department is fully staffed, with 15 teachers ranging from NQTs to very experienced teachers.
We are an inclusive department who have always entered all KS4 students for both English Language and English Literature at GCSE. The subject is also very popular at A level, where the department offers both English Literature and Combined English Language and Literature.

Lampton School was judged as "outstanding" in all categories by Ofsted in May 2008 and again in May 2013. It was also featured in the Ofsted report 'Twelve outstanding secondary schools - Excelling against the odds'. The school is a Lead member of Challenge Partnership – a national collaborative network of 240 schools committed to improving the quality of education across our network.
