We are looking for a highly organised administrator to support the Fundraising team.
The role will involve:
- Providing administrative support to the Fundraising activity of the Harris Federation
- Support the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships and other colleagues with donor reporting – thanking funders, providing updates, sending communications to funders
- Establishing and maintain a system to manage donation records

The Harris Federation is a leading education charity with 52 Harris primary and secondary academies across London and Essex. Our central team comprises a dedicated, driven group of departments working centrally to provide support across the Federation and all of our academies. Across a multitude of key departments, we maintain an outstanding body of staff all integral to supporting central and academy finance, HR, Data, Estates management, Talent and many more.
Main Areas of Responsibility
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to the Fundraising activity of the Harris Federation
- Supporting the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships and other colleagues with donor reporting – thanking funders, providing updates, sending communications to funders
- Processing invoices
- Ensuring accurate recording keeping of donations
- Being the main internal point of contact for donation enquiries
- Assisting the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships with event planning
- Scheduling meetings, organise meeting materials and transcribe action items and minutes when necessary
- Supporting ad hoc departmental projects
- Carrying out any other duties as requested.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree or equivalent.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (specifically Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accuracy to a high standard
- Strong organisational skills, with excellent prioritisation skills and time management
