Head of Science Faculty- Le Rocquier School-Jersey Channel Island

Le Rocquier School is located on the beautiful island of Jersey in the English Channel and are seeking to appoint an inspirational, driven and passionate Head of Science Faculty to become part of a tight team within faculty. This post is available for September 2024.

Jersey offers an Island lifestyle with a minimal commute. This would suit individuals, couples or families seeking to benefit from the beautiful setting, range of activities available, local history and proximity to France both in term time and during the holidays. As with many aspects of Island life, our education system is similar to that of the UK to offer familiarity but also offers some exciting differences. This includes The Jersey Curriculum, which recognises the importance of Jersey culture, history and geography alongside our English heritage. It also includes, the Jersey School Review Framework which quality assures the exceptional standard of teaching and learning in our schools. It works hard to achieve excellence through a combination of peer review and expert off-island support and challenge. There is no OFSTED on Jersey.
