We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic Head of Year, to join our dedicated and committed Pastoral Team. You need to be determined to drive up standards, have a positive approach to your work life and be committed to making a difference. 

We are looking for:

  • A self-motivated, energetic individual with the ability to communicate with people from all walks of life. 
  • Someone who possesses exceptional literacy skills, works well under pressure, is able to meet deadlines, use their own initiative and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
  • An enthusiastic and innovative team player dedicated to sharing good practice and taking full advantage of all opportunities to develop their skills. 
  • An inclusive individual, with high expectations of their students, who is committed to maximising rates of progress.
  • Someone with a sense of humour, who understands the importance of developing a positive culture in our organisation.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and evaluation of the academic and pastoral achievements of a busy year group
  • Leading a team of form tutors to ensure excellence at all levels achieved
  • Liaising with other middle leaders within the school to ensure high quality teaching and learning
