Head Teacher

Required to start in April or September 2018, an outstanding opportunity for an inspirational head teacher to lead our cohesive staff team, and drive forward our inclusive environment for learning, where every child is supported in achieving their best, at St Keyna Primary School. St Keyna has a modern well-resourced building with extensive outside space for sport and outdoor learning activities. The foundation stage has integrated nursery and reception classes. The school has a local and national reputation for being an inclusive school, with highly regarded nurture provision. Our children enjoy coming to school, which they recognize as a safe and well-disciplined environment for learning and developing. The school has close links with the local community, through its active parent-teacher association, the Friends of St Keyna (FOSK).

We are looking for a proven leader who:

• has head teacher, deputy head teacher, or assistant head teacher experience and a proven track record of successful primary school teaching and leadership.
• believes in an inclusive school, and is passionate about teaching and learning through a creative curriculum.
• will encourage high aspirations in all of our children and their families, and be able to lead, inspire and support a cohesive staff team who are keen to develop.
• can demonstrate excellent organizational skills, and has a sound understanding of financial and budget management.
