Outwood Academy Riverside is an 11-16 provision which opened in September 2020 as part of the Free Schools Programme. As part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust, the academy provides an exceptional provision for young people in our local community, ensuring Students first: raising standards and transforming the lives of children, in the heart of Middlesbrough. We are recruiting exceptional individuals who will join our family here at Riverside. This is an incredibly exciting and unique opportunity.

We invite applications from enthusiastic and flexible ICT support specialists to join our existing ICT support team. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of general hardware and software as well as being highly organised and having excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of team is essential and experience of working in an ICT support role or similar would be an advantage.

As part of a growing multi-academy trust, the successful candidate will be well supported and have access to a range of high quality professional development through the Outwood Institute of Education.

Outwood Academy Riverside is currently at Russell Street, Middlesbrough. A new, state of the art, school will be built on Pioneering Way, adjacent to Middlesbrough College. In the interim, as the school grows, we will have a satellite site in Eston, opening in September 2024. Appointed staff will be deployed to work at this site. There is not a vast distance between the two sites and it will be a ‘mirror image’ of everything Riverside is about.
