Repton Al Barsha is seeking to recruit an outstanding Individual Learning Support Assistant to join us in August 2024.


Main Purpose 

To assist and support a pupil with additional learning needs in a one to one capacity


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for the identified student across all areas of the curriculum
  • Ensure that the student can integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by the other children in the class
  • Contribute to the child’s overall progress in all areas of the curriculum
  • Take responsibility for implementing the targets outlined on the student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) in liaison with the class teacher and Head of Inclusion

Successful candidates will have: 

  • A qualification related to Learning Support
  • At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategies to support SEND/ELL students
  • Excellent communication skills in addition to being fluent in English
  • Your own UAE dependents visa (family/spouse visa)
