Job overview

We have a fantastic career opportunity to be part of an important new provision at our autism specific specialist free school. We will be extending pupil numbers by accepting new early years foundation stage and key stage 3 pupils at a nearby satellite site in RG2 Reading.

As a Key Stage 3 SEN Teacher this role will enable you to increase the reach of this specialist Trust and provide much needed places for autistic pupils. 

•To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and deafferented curriculum for the pupils, incorporating the areas in line with polices of the school.

•Prepare and implement support plans for individual pupils. 

•To assist all pupils, develop emotional security, self-belief, and mature social skills.

•Share in the development and review of the curriculum, teaching materials, methods of teaching and assessment in collaboration with wider teams and leads.
