The City Academy, Hackney is one of only seven schools in the country to have a Progress 8 score above 1 for 2016. The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, exceptional individual to take on the role of a Library Assistant. You will be working with excellent staff in this exciting and challenging post. You will have extremely high expectations to ensure children regardless of gender, ethnicity and religion achieve to the best of their ability.
The post holder will be required to work two days per week (Thursday and Friday). They will be responsible for assisting the Learning Resources Manager in the organisation of the libraries, in support of the school curriculum and in response to the needs of students and staff. You will also have strong ICT skills, be literate, numerate and flexible with the ability to inspire and support students in achieving the best possible learning outcomes.
