We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Office Administrator to join our hard working and dedicated team in the school office.

Your opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an Office Receptionist / Administrator to provide receptionist and administrative support as a member of the school’s administrative team. This varied role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to learn all aspects within the department, developing their knowledge and skills. They will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the busy day to day school life, including maintaining the busy school reception area and be a strong team player.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a receptionist capacity within an administrative role and should have good communication and organisational skills to engage with a variety of people with various requirements.

Due to the nature of the post, they will need to be flexible in their work ethic and willing to help the rest of the team. Experience of working in a school office would be desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate should:

• Be dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated

• Be able to develop positive relationships

• Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour and circumstances

• Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team

• Be a confident and clear communicator to the whole school community

• Have GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above

The Opportunity Details

Hours: 32.5 hrs per week over 39 weeks per year.

Salary: GLF Associate Pay Scale Associate 2 

Pro Rata: £14,989.43

FTE: £19,300.00
