We are looking for an outgoing Pre-School Assistant to join our exceptional School.

As our Pre-School Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm, supportive and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow.

About the Position

Contract Type: Part-time, permanent, term time only

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm 

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Start Date: Immediate start available

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting our Pre-School Teachers in implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through play-based learning experiences.
  • Fostering a safe and inclusive environment, where every child feels valued and respected.
  • Helping to maintain a clean, organised and inviting classroom.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Hold a minimum of a level 2 qualification that is relevant and current to Early Years.
  • Prior experience within a Nursery or Pre-School setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them thrive.
  • The adeptness to work as part of a team.
  • The talent to make learning fun and engaging for every child.
