Job overview
The H-FARM International School Group is looking for a PYP/Primary Principal from August 2023.
Requirements:
- Excellent communicator (English is the language of instruction but a working knowledge of Italian would be an asset).
- Strong organisational skills.
- Proactive problem-solver.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Previous relevant IB experience is fundamental (PYP Principal or Coordinator, Assistant Principal, Head of Programme, etc…).
Main responsabilities:
- Oversee day-to-day school operations.
- Manage school logistics and budgets.
- Lead student and teacher learning.
- Research new resources and techniques to improve teaching.
- Manage the teaching staff and deal with relations with parents.
- Work with our colleagues in marketing and admissions to attract students who will benefit from our school and contribute to the community.
- Manage health and safety and the wellbeing of PYP students.

H-FARM International School Venezia is the “founder” of the H-FARM International schools; it is the beginning of our story.
The campus is located in the heart of the Sile River natural park in an area known as Ca’ Tron, one of the largest single agricultural estates in Italy, which borders the Venetian lagoon.
It is in a strategic position in Italy’s northeast region and is just 12km from Venice’s Marco Polo airport, 20km from Treviso, and 50km from Padova.
The school is an IB World School and provides the three IB continuum programmes (PYP, MYP, and DP), providing education to students from 3 to 18 years old.
In September 2020, H-FARM International School Venezia moved to the H-FARM Campus; a place where students, young startuppers, teachers, entrepreneurs, managers, and College students collaborate together in the digital transformation process. This is a stimulating place where ideas are shared, opportunities arise and experiences are made, inspiring students.
Since 2018, H-FARM International School has been recognised as an Apple Distinguished School and excellence centre for digital didactics - amongst the most innovative in the world - selected for its unprecedented learning environments.
H-FARM International School Venezia is also part of the Boarding Schools' Association, with its two residential buildings located two hundred meters from the school and overlooking a central green park, close to the sports facilities, and the large library.
