St Edward’s is seeking experienced part-time Rugby Coaches to join our team for the Autumn term.

Rugby is a core sport offered at St Edward’s for both boys and girls and is played by over 200 pupils with a range of abilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering coaching across year groups from Year 9 to 13, motivating students and instructing players of all ages, from beginners to performance level, in contact safety, current game strategies and techniques. 

We are looking for a candidate with coaching qualifications at RFU Level 2 or equivalent experience, including RFU Headcase, Introduction to Safeguarding and Tacklesafe.The ideal candidate will be comfortable and competent in delivering high quality coaching to students aged 13-18 of all abilities. Experience of playing or coaching rugby to a high standard is essential.

Working Hours:

  • Tuesday: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Thursday: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
  • Saturday: 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm

The number of working hours may vary from week to week and will be agreed between you and the Head of Rugby. There may also be a requirement to coach on additional days, which will be coordinated with the Head of Rugby.
