Do you have a passion for sports and inspiring others?

Cheadle Hulme Primary School is searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging environment where participants can develop their skills, knowledge, and love for physical activity. You will be coaching high quality PE sessions across EYFS and the Primary Phase.

If you would like to join our Laurus Trust family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can be then we would love to hear from you.

This position is contracted on a 29.5 hours per week Term Time Only + 1 week basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks.

Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please see the Job Description attached below)

  • To plan and prepare sessions in collaboration with colleagues. 
  • To deliver high quality PE sessions across EYFS and the Primary Phase. 
  • To promote the value of sport and embed a love physical activity. 

Key Skills & Experience

  • Relevant coaching qualifications or equivalent experience 
  • Experience of working with children aged 4 – 11 years would be advantageous
  • Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role

Cheadle Hulme Primary School first opened in September 2018 and has been going from strength to strength ever since!

Cheadle Hulme Primary School is a hugely oversubscribed, non-selective, non-denominational, two form entry primary school with two classes in each year as well as a pre-school. We are co-located with our sister secondary, Laurus Cheadle Hulme High School.
