Due to continued growth and success of the Art Department, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of Art to join our hard working, creative and supportive team. The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher with high expectations and they should possess the imagination, energy and skill to help craft their curriculum and department. They will have the ability to motivate and inspire staff and pupils alike to further improve and develop an already successful department.

If you are an ECT or experienced teacher looking to either further your career in teaching, or a recently qualified teacher looking to broaden your experience, then Reddish Vale High School has an exciting opportunity for a first-rate individual to teach Art, or Art with Photography.  

You will join a superbly resourced Art and Design department where you will teach Art up to and including GCSE. Ideally, you will teach Art & Design across the school and based on your skills and qualifications you may also teach Photography at GCSE. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to broaden your teaching experience and facilitate new skills. 

You will be a strong and dynamic individual, possessing excellent subject knowledge and a strong academic background. You will demonstrate good classroom management skills and will be capable of building an appropriate rapport with pupils, drawing on a strong set of communication skills. You will maintain a passion for the arts and will demonstrate a commitment to high creative standards in your work.
