Position: Full-Time Computer Science Teacher (KS3-KS4, including Computer Science GCSE)

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on preparing them for Computer Science GCSE examinations. You will design engaging curriculum content, facilitate hands-on learning experiences, and foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that align with the national curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Create and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback for growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes collaboration, creativity, and independent inquiry.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification, desirable
  • Proven experience teaching computer science at Key Stages 3 and 4, including preparation for GCSE examinations
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and other core computer science concepts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
