The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and inspirational full time, permanent Teacher of Music.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful and ambitious Music and Performing Arts department staffed by talented and enthusiastic teachers. You would be required to deliver an innovative, up to date KS3 curriculum as well as teaching BTEC and GCSE at KS4.
The ideal candidate would be eager to contribute to a number of extra- curricular activities in the Music Department including clubs, showcases, bands and a range of collaborative events with the Drama and Performing Arts department.
This role would suit an ECT or experienced teacher.

St Bede’s Roman Catholic High School is a mixed, non-selective, 11-16, voluntary-aided comprehensive secondary school, situated in the west of Blackburn in Lancashire. The school, which has 985 students on its roll, moved into new and refurbished buildings in 2013.
St Bede’s RC High School works with the Tauheedul Teaching School – Futures Alliance to provide support for other local schools and within the Blackburn area with Darwen Education Improvement Partnership, which is developing school improvement strategies in the area.
