Required to start in September 2024, we seek to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated full-time Teaching Assistant.

 

Working closely with the class teacher, you will provide support and assist teachers in the development and education of the children in our school. We see our teaching assistants as a key part of the team in the classrooms, who can have an enormous impact on teaching and learning. You will be a part of the planning as well as delivery of the lessons and will be expected to contribute to the ongoing assessment of pupil progress.

 

This is a permanent full-time role for 37.5 hours per week, term time only plus INSET days, (36 weeks per year). Working days will be Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 4.15pm including a 30-minute unpaid break.

The starting salary for this role is between approximately £22,971 and £23,303 per annum full time equivalent, (£18,214 to £18,476 actual) by negotiation, for  37.5 hours per week, 36 weeks of the year, and is depending on qualifications and relevant experience. This is based on point D5 to D6 of the Foundation pay scale.
