We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and talented Transition Teacher who is dedicated and keen to join our dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational SEND team. The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher with high expectations and they should possess the imagination, energy and skill to help craft their curriculum and department.

You will lead the Transition provision, a small Year 7 class which provides a safe and structured environment to increase access to learning for pupils and provide an extended transition period for pupils who may find it difficult moving from primary to secondary school. You will teach a range of subjects including English, Maths, RE, History and Geography. You will also assist in improving pupil’s self-esteem, self-management behaviours, social skills, self-awareness, confidence and their literacy and numeracy skills.
