Westminster City School is a successful 11-18 Christian non-denominational comprehensive academy for boys with a rapidly growing mixed sixth form. Situated in the heart of central London with strong links to Westminster Abbey, we provide all the opportunities and advantages of an inner city school. You, like us, will demand the highest standards of personal conduct and support outstanding academic attainment in a comprehensive setting.

We are looking for a Youth Pastor to lead the work of our Chaplaincy as well as the liturgical life of our school. They will provide high-quality pastoral and spiritual support to students, their parents and staff. You will join a devoted and vibrant learning community built on the values of Wisdom, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence. We provide transformational learning for all the young people in our care.

The role is an all year round part time position, for a minimum of two and a half days per week. We have strong connections with local parishes and would be willing to explore any candidate looking for a part time parish position in addition to this post. The position is open to ordained candidates from any Christian denomination. We would welcome applicants from Black, Asian or other Global Majority heritages. There is a possibility of teaching Religious Studies part time in addition to these hours.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
