We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and committed Academic Coach to join our Sixth Form team. The College is experiencing growth and we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting.

Our curriculum provision is predominantly A Level. We have high ambitions for our students and Academic Coaches are a key part of our support network. It is an exciting time to join the College and we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting. 

As an Academic Coach, you will be responsible for supporting students academically across one of our pathways. This will be through delivering group tutorial sessions, 1:1 pastoral support, 1:1 coaching sessions, delivering group academic interventions and coaching and supporting students with their UCAS applications and progression goals. In addition, Academic Coaches will support the curriculum manager and academic intervention lead with monitoring, tracking and supporting students to improve their attendance, study skills and grades You will help learners to reflect on what they need to do to improve and ensure that appropriate interventions are in place for them to succeed. 

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a student-centered environment. Whilst prior experience of delivering workshops, coaching students or UCAS would be desirable, we are keen to hear from applicants who can display transferable skills of pro-activity, initiative and building positive relationships. These skills are crucial to working effectively with teachers, support staff and students. The Sixth Form is a priority department for Loughborough College and we are looking for candidates who will work to build on successful outcomes within this area and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery.
