Administrative Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant with the passion and commitment to join this high achieving, happy and successful staff team. Ricards Lodge High School is an outstanding, successful and vibrant multi-cultural comprehensive school for girls with a co-educational Sixth Form. We have high expectations of all our students and provide a dynamic and stimulating environment in which they can learn and develop as individuals.

The roles includes (but is not limited to):

• Providing general administrative support to ensure effective and efficient running of the school.
• Responding to telephone calls and enquiries efficiently and in a professional and supportive manner.
• Communicating with parents/carers via our Parent communication portal
• Confidence in IT and communication skills.
• Assisting and covering the Reception at busy times of the day.
• Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail including deliveries
• Maintaining records on the School’s Information Management system (SIMs).
• Assist, when required, with the administration of in-year student transfers, both in and out of the school.
• Assist, when required, with the administration of student trips and attendance.
• Assist with the Transition to Year 7 process as directed.
• Support in the collection of Year 11 leavers destinations, required by the DfE, and as directed by your Line Manager.
• Support in arranging vaccination schedule in liaison with the Immunisation Team and Heads of Years.
