Thank you so much for your interest in the role of Chief Executive Officer at our Trust.

Ascend Learning Trust is a dynamic, professional, and expanding group of seven schools set in the South of England, in Wiltshire. Due to the planned retirement of Mr George Croxford, our existing CEO and former head teacher of Royal Wootton Bassett Academy, the Trustees are looking to appoint another exceptional leader to take the Ascend Learning Trust and the team to the next stage of its development.

This role involves working closely with our Executive Leadership Team and Trust Board in conjunction with the senior leaders within our academies to deliver the strategy and vision of the Trust and continue to deliver the necessary strong outcomes across our family of schools.

We require someone with:

  • Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills who can collaborate with others.
  • A strong determination to make a positive difference.
  • A track record of success in delivering a strategic vision and show evidence of effecting a change in culture to drive a continuous improvement.
