Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a full time, experienced Assistant Head (Academic), to join our dynamic Prep school staff. With a desire to drive academic excellence and teaching standards our candidate will be a talented and passionate practitioner who is creative and engaging and upholds our belief that no pupil should be left behind.
This is a pivotal role that forms part of the Prep School’s Senior Management team. Ideally our candidate will have SENCo experience and be able to teach computing, however other specialisms are welcome.
Working in a professional, welcoming and caring environment, you will ensure each pupil is nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential. As well as a genuine passion for excellence in academic and pastoral care, and inspired by our School’s ethos, all teachers are expected to contribute to our outstanding variety of co-curricular activities.
Depending on Government advice in place at the time of interview, we may utilise virtual or remote interview processes.
In addition to a competitive salary, we are committed to the wellbeing and development of all our staff, promoting continuous professional development, pension, staff discount, membership of the superb Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre and free meals.
Closing date for applications: Wednesday 21 April, 2021.
All applications must be made using a Truro School application form.
Interviews are currently scheduled to take place on 29 and 30 April, 2021 (both face to face and remotely)
