To be based at either St Augustine’s Catholic High School, Redditch or St Benedict’s Catholic High School, Alcester  

Base school will be dependent on experience and role 

Teachers Leadership L11 – L19 

Required from September 2024 

Our Lady of the Magnificat Multi Academy is undergoing a fantastic and rewarding journey, with strategic targets, including to be the highest performing Catholic Academy where every child receives an excellent education. We are strengthening support for our rapidly growing and flourishing schools.  

Due to internal promotions, this is a unique opportunity within the organisation for a permanent deployment for an aspiring leader to gain experience of Secondary Senior Leadership with the encouragement and support of a high performing School Improvement Team.   

Both schools have recently undergone successful OFSTED inspections and are now looking to develop in the next stage of their journey. With the launch of Magnificat Sixth Form between both schools, this is also time for the successful candidate to have a wider influence in on this innovative community. 

The appointment is subject to the current conditions of service for Assistant Principal contained in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions document (STPCD) and other current education and employment legislation.  

We are looking for someone: 

  • Who is passionate about educating young people and puts their wellbeing at the heart of all they do; 
  • Who has experience of different schools, settings and circumstances; 
  • Proven track record of exceptional leadership; 
  • Who will work collaboratively with the Principal to motivate and inspire staff while making them feel valued and supported.
