Lecturer – Supported & Inclusive Learning (Skills for Arts)
Full-time, Fixed-term (July 2025)
£34,690 - £44,409 per annum
Are you passionate about supporting and developing the skills and knowledge of learners with additional needs?
We are looking a qualified, experienced special needs teacher to join our Supported and Inclusive Learning team. Our department delivers a range of courses that support young people to prepare for adulthood including vocational, employability and independence pathways. A commitment to working with young people/adults with additional support needs underpins all aspects of our work.
This post will involve developing student’s communication, independence, employability, and life skills. An interest and commitment to personalised learning, a student-centred approach and experience of working with young people and adults with learning disabilities is essential.
You will be required to deliver the curriculum effectively through a variety of different learning strategies, communicating effectively with students and parents/carers as appropriate and providing learners with appropriate tutorial support in accordance with the programme and individual requirements.
