As we move into an exciting new phase at Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), we are seeking to appoint a Building Operations Assistant to join our Barnsley/Sheffield cluster of schools.

The new structure consists of a Building Operations Supervisor supported by Building Operations Assistants who will provide site services to our academies in the cluster.

This role will be based at Firth Park Academy in Sheffield. Firth Park Academy is a successful 11-16 secondary school which serves the pupils and community around the Shirebrook area. We are situated 10 minutes from the M1 motorway.

We work closely with our Primary partners which are Shafton Primary, St Helens Primary and Meadstead Primary.

As an enthusiastic, proactive, customer focussed organised individual you will ensure that our academies function safely and effectively on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, be highly motivated, organised, full of initiative, and common sense, with a proven ability to work effectively under pressure, dealing with multiple tasks to meet time deadlines. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and relate well and build positive relationships with staff and key stakeholders.
