Chilton Bridge School is a newly opened independent, special school for pupils aged 6 – 19, situated in a beautiful setting, near Yeovil, Somerset. Our creative, individualised approach to learning, is centred around well-being and skills for independence. From the time our students arrive, we assess their individual interests, passions and desires to build a project based curriculum to meet their needs. In so doing, we ensure they are well prepared to achieve their goals and succeed.

The Business Manager (BM) is responsible for managing the strategy and operation of the business functions of our school, including financial management, health and safety, human resources, compliance and administration. The post sits within our school leadership team and therefore candidates should have some management and leadership experience.

This is a varied and exciting role, candidates must be enthusiastic, organised, approachable and hard working.They will advise on and implement the day-to-day support that enables the school to operate effectively and efficiently, and that allows other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning.

We understand the importance of building meaningful relationships with pupils and families to nurture growth and development of relational milestones such as, building trust and sharing enjoyment. Care and making connections are at the heart of our ethos and we work hard to ensure that all staff feel cared for too.
