Class Teacher (possibility of TLR 2A)

Hazelbury Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, inspirational teacher to become part of our team. Our good school, as rated by Ofsted, ensures the best outcomes for all children. We are innovative with our teaching approach and have embedded a ‘no marking’ feedback for learning policy, which enables teachers to give valuable feedback on progress whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance!

We understand how important it is for teachers and children to have access to modern technology, which is why we are a resourced Apple school. Teachers are provided with Mac books and all members of staff are provided with Ipads.

Children are engaged with a creative curriculum that makes use of our performing arts studio, music zone and creative hub. Our own on-site sports coaches provide our children with quality sport provision and fantastic extra-curricular opportunities.

With a farm, pond and orchard on site, we are able to provide the children with creative outdoor experiences. We also have our very own minibuses, which staff have the opportunity to be trained to drive, or to use them with an additional driver to access learning opportunities outside of school.

Our ethos encourages pupil voice and we have embedded values that ensure resilience and independence. Children are encouraged to have a growth mindset to build lifelong learning skills and we have developed mindfulness for both children and staff across the school.

We provide quality training and development for staff and as we are a large school, we are able to offer significant opportunities for professional development. All staff are able to be involved with developments within the curriculum in areas that interest them and we encourage expertise and a staff that supports one another to develop their practice. The wellbeing of our staff is an important priority therefore we provide opportunities to ensure that we value their hard work and dedication. All staff are given access to Perkbox- an app that provides discounts on many high street chains.

Our large school is part of the Enfield Learning Trust, a partnership of successful primary schools in Enfield. With easy access into central London, our school is ideal for candidates wanting to live in either inner or outer London.
