What does the role involve?

Our high-quality PE curriculum aims to instil a lifelong enthusiasm and commitment towards physical activities and guides students to learn how to lead a healthy active lifestyle. We are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Curriculum Leader of Girls’ PE who is a sports specialist to join a successful PE department in a high performing school. The main aim of this role is to work with the Director of PE to develop the PE curriculum across KS3 and 4, enabling students to develop their skills and transfer knowledge across multiple physical activities and enhance performance. The role will also involve further enhancing our excellent co-curricular provision.

Who are we looking for?

We are now looking to appoint a Curriculum Leader for Girls’ PE who will bring an energetic and ambitious approach to this area of our work. The successful candidate will report to and work with our Director of PE and will be responsible for ensuring high quality provision and performance in Girls’ PE, both as part of the curriculum and through co-curricular activities. An inclusive approach to sport for all will be as important as the ability to coach to a very high standard.
