The Littlehampton Academy is seeking an outstanding practitioner with the presence, experience and vision to make a difference to the progress of students and continued development of staff. A recruitment incentive (negotiable) is available for a candidate with a proven track record of success.

You will be joining the academy at a very exciting time and will have opportunities to contribute significantly to the ongoing improvements both at Faculty and whole-academy levels. The successful candidate will be motivated, creative and resilient; an outstanding practitioner in the classroom; and with the necessary leadership skills to improve the effectiveness of colleagues to ensure successful outcomes are reached.
Ably led by the Director of Faculty, our large team of enthusiastic and supportive science teachers is based in a suite of 14 newly refurbished and well-resourced laboratories.
Our current focus is the continued development of an innovative and engaging KS3 curriculum based on skills and independent enquiry. At KS4, students follow a range of flexible and personalised learning pathways leading to a variety of accredited courses including AQA 9-1 GCSE science trilogy. At post-16, courses include physics, chemistry and biology to A2 Level.
