The Director of Technology role is a great opportunity for an aspiring leader to lead the Technology department consisting of Art, Photography, Food Tech and Resistant Materials. Regardless of where you are at in your career, the academy will provide you with the necessary professional development and support to enable you to be a great leader at the academy. As their reputation grows and improves in the local community, they are looking for the leaders of the future to be part of their exciting journey.

At the academy they understand that to be successful, they must provide their students with the highest level of challenge and the highest expectations of behaviour. The academy is disciplined, never shying away from being responsible for their actions.

This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers.

The ideal candidate will be:

  •  An experienced teacher of Art with a track record of contributing to excellent student progress and outcomes
  • An aspiring leader looking to make a difference and contributing to the exciting journey the academy is on
  • Organised and have an eye for detail
  • A team player who can both lead and be led
  • Committed to ongoing professional development for oneself and the Technology team
