Job overview

We are looking for a talented and experienced candidate to take on the development of our outstanding, high-quality English Language Summer School provision.

Westonbirt School launched its first English Language Summer School for international students in the summer of 2022. Westonbirt, which is part of the Wishford Schools group, is a coeducational day and boarding school in the Cotswolds for children aged 2-18. It has welcomed overseas pupils throughout its history.

Following the success of the 2022 Westonbirt Summer School, we are now increasing the number of beds available there, as well as launching a second 2023 Summer School at fellow Wishford school, Hatherop Castle Prep School.

To help us deliver this growth within the group and develop short courses at other times of the year, we are looking to appoint a Director of Summer Schools. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Enterprise Director and the Executive team, and will be responsible for all aspects of the courses including staff recruitment, developing academic and activity programmes, supporting international sales, health and safety, and will act as the Centre Director whilst the courses are in operation.

The role is full-time and will be based at Westonbirt School.
