Holy Trinity Early Learning Centre enables your child to take their first step into Catholic Education. About the Role

The Preschool Educator works as a part of a team, striving for excellence in teaching and learning, where relationships and partnerships are nurtured and respected, where children feel safe and develop a strong sense of identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning, implementing and evaluating a high-quality preschool program guided by the Early Years Learning Framework in collaboration with the classroom teacher.
  • Contribute to daily routines, in open communication with the classroom teacher and other team members.
  • Collect observational data for individual children and/or groups of children for programming and planning purposes
  • Work collaboratively and respectfully with all members of the ELC team

Ensure the health and safety of all the children while at the Centre through modelling good practice

Essential Criteria

  • The ability to provide high quality care for all children at the Centre;
  • Active participation as a team member and a commitment to an inclusive working environment;
  • Strong organisational skills;
  • A commitment to developing positive relationships with families;
  • A well-developed sense of responsibility and self-motivation;
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality with staff, families and children; 
  • A commitment to development and improvement within the field of Early Childhood education; and
  • An ability to work with different multimedia platforms.

Other Eligibility Criteria 

  • You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position. 
  • Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.
