Our school is situated in Carshalton, 30 minutes from London Victoria by train and a short distance from Sutton, Merton, Croydon and Kingston.

A teaching apprenticeship offers:

  • A paid route into teaching (no tuition fees)
  • A work-based learning environment (in school all week)
  • Access to skilled teachers and mentors
  • 21 days of online intensive training and practice (ITP) with the National Institute of Teaching and Education (NITE)
  • A PGCE qualification upon successful completion

Requirements:

  • A degree awarded by a UK higher education provider, or a recognised equivalent qualification
  • A standard equivalent to grade C/4, or above in GCSE English and Mathematics

You will be joining a team of brilliant people who are passionate about helping our students thrive and achieve the very best they can. Every member of staff -  from our friendly receptionists to the dedicated leadership team - works tirelessly to support our students, their families and their colleagues.

The leadership team has put in place a substantial professional development programme to encourage staff to flourish and progress.  This includes a bespoke teaching and learning package, the support of a specialist mentoring and coaching group, and opportunities for cross-Trust department collaboration.   Additionally all staff are supported by a wellbeing team which actively seeks opportunities to improve staff experience and offer support if needed.
