Chichester College Group is a highly successful general further education college based on four campuses in West Sussex: Chichester, Crawley, Brinsbury and Horsham. The Group was formed from a merger between Chichester and Central Sussex Colleges in August 2017 and has around 30,000 students and learners. The Group has significant commercial businesses and work based learning contracts which it wishes to expand and grow profitably.
The Group is recruiting for a highly driven and inspirational leader to deliver on a strategy of growth in customer/learner numbers and commercial partnerships. You will be responsible for merging and integrating the Sales and Marketing teams and establishing a new strategic approach and culture that is driven by measurable results and profit.
The role will report into the Group Managing Director (Commercial) and lead on all aspects of sales, marketing, communications, commercial contracts and public affairs. You will act as an advocate and champion of the College, engaging with senior stakeholders across the public, private and third party sectors. We are seeking a highly motivated and ‘results driven’ individual with proven experience of leading successful and innovative sales and marketing teams within a commercial business or the FE/HE sector.

Chichester College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, general further education college situated in West Sussex. It is a 16-plus institution with two main sites in Chichester and Pulborough, plus further outreach centres in Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing. It has links to local employers, most of a small to medium size.
Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology, as it was formerly known, opened in 1964. Chichester College has been offering work-based training since 1996. It has approximately 10,897 part-time learners and 3,732 full-time students.
