As London’s environmental college, the College plays a vital role in the green agenda for the capital, equipping the next generation of land-based sector workers with the skills and knowledge needed to preserve and protect London’s wildlife, national parks and green spaces.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and inspiring leader to join the College as its Head of Apprenticeships and Business Development. The post holder will play an important role in developing the College’s apprenticeships provision and helping the College to achieve its ambitious growth targets.
The post holder will maximise opportunities for growth and income generation by engaging with employers and maximising the achievement of all recruitment targets. They will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of the College’s apprenticeship provision and that it meets the needs and expectations of employers.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in apprenticeships and employer engagement. They will have a good understanding of apprenticeship and ESFA funding methodologies and rules. They will a track record of shaping, motivating, developing and managing an effective team and experience of improving quality within apprenticeship delivery. Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders are also essential.
