As a dynamic Head of Art/DT you will enthuse students through the provision of high quality teaching and learning, encouraging all students to develop their potential to the full. The successful candidate will be a leader who is passionate about all aspects of Art/DT with a drive to make a difference and maintain our high standards in these subjects.

 The ideal candidate will:

Students at St Andrew appreciate being taught well and enjoy their learning. They expect high standards and like to be challenged and stretched in the classroom. They participate well and enjoy taking responsibility across the school.

Our most recent set of published GCSE results in 2019 were outstanding. Results in DT featured 18% of students achieving grades 9 -7.

Overall results in 2022 were well above national averages at GCSE, and our first set of examined A Level results were fantastic as well. Two St Andrew students start at University of Oxford this autumn. It is an exciting time to join the school as we are well along the way with plans for the construction of our permanent site, which will also be on the site of the North London Business Park. For D&T this will mean a purpose-built suite of classrooms, including a Food Technology room.
