The Opportunity

We are currently searching for a skilled and passionate Head of Early Years to formulate and implement the strategic vision for the EY department in alignment with the broader school objectives. The role involves teaching a class of students as well as overseeing the development, implementation, and improvement of the EY curriculum to meet both national and international standards, as well as leading and managing a team of EY teachers and teaching assistants.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

•  A recognized teaching qualification (Bachelor's or Master's in Primary Education with a specialization in Early Years)
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Early Years education
• A minimum of 2-3 years of leadership experience as an EYFS lead
• Proficiency in best pedagogical practices.

About You

You will be a fully qualified Early Years educationist who will have high expectations of yourself with a professional working ethos and sound early years educational philosophy to drive the education agenda. This needs to be combined with exceptional communication and leadership skills to motivate both children and staff.

You should be able to communicate effectively in English both in writing and the spoken language. Student safety, happiness, and effective learning will be at the heart of what you want to achieve.
