Sir Harry Smith Community College is looking to appoint a Head of House to join our current pastoral team.  It would be desirable but not essential if applicants were able to teach either Maths or Science.

The purpose of this role is to work alongside the Student Support Assistant to create an effective and happy learning environment for the students in your care. Additional financial incentives are available for experience candidates. You will also have responsibility for a specialised area of student support and wellbeing across the college. The successful candidate will support students on issues including behaviour, engagement, progress and attendance. The ability to communicate positively with young people and work alongside, staff and parents is imperative. This role requires an individual that is confident, organised and will enjoy working within a supportive and committed team dedicated to achieving the very best for the young people in our community.
