Are you an experienced Science teacher excited for a new challenge? Would you like to join a school community, which values the development of its teachers and invests heavily in CPD and preparing the community of tomorrow?

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher of Science to lead our vibrant and forward-looking Science team from September 2023. We are committed to providing the environment and resources second to none found in the secondary sector. This includes a Scanning Electron Microscope and a cryogenics lab. We are part of a supportive MAT in which collaboration is encouraged to develop your career and refine your practice.

UTC Oxfordshire is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form, serving students from the age of 14-19. Situated in Harwell near Didcot the UTC has a maximum capacity of 600 students. It is part of the Active Learning Education Trust and works with industry partners: BMW Mini, UK Atomic Energy Authority, Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), RM Education, Reaction Engines and Bloodhound SSC and Academic Partners: Oxford Brookes University,  Royal Holloway (University of London) and Reading University.

UTC Oxfordshire opened in 2015 and allows for students to specialise in either science or engineering.
