Teaching ServiceDulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design, enrolment 900 students, including 45% of students from a non-English speaking background, has highly motivated staff, students and parents committed to optimising learning outcomes in a creative, innovative and caring environment.
The school focuses on academic achievement, offering a comprehensive pattern of student study with a specialist stream in visual arts and design where student enrolment is through portfolio and interview.
The school has a support unit for students with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities. There are a number of programs such as project-based learning, a secondary enrichment class, a strong gifted and talented program and a broad range of extracurricular activities such as band, choir, public speaking, debating and drama.

2. Proven ability to lead the development and implementation of curriculum reform including innovative, high-quality teaching and learning programs, practices and assessment which meet the diverse learning and wellbeing needs of all students.
3. Proven expertise in visible and proactive school leadership working in successful collaboration with the school’s executive team to lead, implement and support whole school priorities and initiatives in the school’s Strategic Improvement Plan.
4. Highly developed and visible interpersonal skills with a proven capacity to build positive relationships and promote engagement across the school community, helping to create and sustain a positive school culture of integrity, diversity and excellence.
