Due to the forthcoming retirement of our highly respected Headteacher in April, the governors, staff and pupils are seeking to appoint a passionate and inspirational leader, with a clear vision to provide a creative curriculum both inside and outside of the classroom. 

The successful candidate will achieve high educational standards, promote a strong Christian ethos, maintain and develop good links with the community and build upon the strengths of our happy school.  

Our latest SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) was ‘Outstanding’. Our Ofsted rating in April 2017 was ‘Good’ and we are looking for someone who will complete our journey to ‘Outstanding’.   


Our School Community  

St Peter's Church of England Primary School (VA) is a small and friendly primary school. Together with our own Nursery we provide for children from ages 3 to 11 years. We are at the heart of life in the thriving village community of Cassington.  The school promotes Christian values and fosters an environment of spirituality, creativity and respect where everyone is valued. We are part of the Eynsham Partnership Academy and with the Diocese we work together for the benefit of all children within the schools.
