Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
PAY LEVEL: Scale 6
Contract: Permanent, TTO + INSET + 5 days. 36 hours per week
Reporting to: Behaviour and Attitudes Lead
Heath School is looking for a colleague who is passionate about supporting students to overcome behavioural and educational barriers to succeed in school. This post-holder will need to be flexible, adaptable and passionate about working with a wider team to overcome barriers to ensure that our students reach their potential. This post would particularly suit those who are keen to develop their careers working within a Federation committed to professional development and progression opportunities for its staff.
You will work closely with the behaviour and attitudes team to support students to regulate and positively engage with their timetabled curriculum offer, drawing on your positive relationships with the students to encourage them to make positive choices. You will also support students across their curriculum offer including through Active Learning and Vocational onsite lessons.
