The Role
This is an opportunity for an effective and professionally qualified HR Manager to perform a key role in leading and managing all HR functions within our school of 1500 students. The high-quality provision our students need to be successful in turn relies on the skills of colleagues working together across all roles and responsibilities and who feel happy in their employment. The HR Manager is key in ensuring staff understand their role and have the development and support they need to conduct their role to the highest standard.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an educational setting, ideally a secondary school and will be able to demonstrate HR astuteness together with the strategic skills needed to retain and recruit within the current, challenging employment context facing schools.

About Shenfield High School
Shenfield High School is a co-educational, non-denominational 11-18 secondary school located in Brentwood, Essex. At its most recent inspection there were 1,145 students aged 11-18 on the school roll, 350 of whom studied in the sixth form. The area of Shenfield has a population of 5,500 and is serviced by a station on the Liverpool Street Line, which will be the final stop on the Crossrail Elizabeth Line.
Shenfield High School was opened in 1962 and converted to academy status in 2012.
