We are excited to be recruiting to a new role within our support team. We are looking for someone with strong HR experience and excellent interpersonal skills who will work closely alongside the Headteacher, School Business Manager, and the school’s senior leadership team to support our talented staff and outstanding provision.

About the Role: 

The School HR Manager will be a key player in managing all aspects of day-to-day HR services at the Children’s Hospital School at Great Ormond Street and UCLH. The role requires a strong HR Generalist and innovative thinker who can handle a wide range of issues simultaneously. 

Responsibilities include: 

-      Providing efficient and compassionate HR support to all staff

-      Ensuring effective systems that support high-quality HR protocols and advice throughout the school including recruitment

-      Collaborating with Camden Learning and NHS HR support services

-      Providing administrative support for staff learning and development programmes throughout the year 

Key Qualities:

- Strong understanding of confidentiality and discretion.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside the school.

- Ability to prioritise, plan, and organise tasks independently.

- Responsiveness and adaptability to daily changing demands.

At the Children's Hospital School at GOSH & UCH we aim to provide an enriching and enjoyable experience for all our pupils, which ensures normality through education and helps to prevent anxiety about school.
