The Governors are seeking to appoint an IT Technician who will support the running of the school’s IT infrastructure and systems in conjunction with our technical support specialists. Reporting to the Business Manager the IT Technician will oversee the efficient and effective operation of IT infrastructure across the school site while providing hands-on IT support to staff across the school as well as being responsible for all IT hardware and software, servers, storage management, and security.

We're seeking candidates who possess strong IT skills and excel in communication. A proactive mindset and dedication to collaborative teamwork are essential qualities we value. You might not have the knowledge or experience with backend servers, firewalls, Telephony, switches, etc. These aspects are handled by third-party contractors, who will largely maintain a hands-off role, ensuring smooth backend server support in the background. They will be readily available if needed for support or to answer any questions, providing reassurance and expertise to the IT Technician and the school community.
