Job overview

Hillcrest Secondary School seeks two Learning Assistants to commence August 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates wishing to further their career and move towards becoming a full time teacher. Candidates will work under a successful Head of Learning Support and assist children independently and in small groups on tailor made timetables.

The candidate should have experience within the British Curriculum, in particular the IGCSE curriculum.

Hillcrest also encourages students to be involved in a wider range of activities and candidates should be passionate about activities outside of their specialism.

The Role in summary: 

The secondary school runs from Year 9 to Year 13 and has a student population of about 300. This is a vibrant community, whose students, parents and teachers work collaboratively within an atmosphere of mutual respect. The secondary school follows the British National Curriculum and administers Pearson, CAIE & AQA exams.
